Shabby Chic Night Stand Redo

Today I am going to share with you a piece of furniture I made over. Let me show you the BEFORE.

I think it has an 80's vibe to it. I sanded & primed and painted.

Here is the AFTER.

I think the white is so fresh & clean.

I taped off the top and added stripes in a color I mixed myself.

I think this was a pretty successful makeover :)

Monday Already

Our life has been extremely busy lately. Finishing up track and cheerleading for one child, beginning baseball for another, school coming to an end, my sister moving....yea, so I feel like I have not had much time to do anything "extra". Keeping the house somewhat clean & laundry done has even been a challenge. I am so looking forward to summer at home with my kiddos!!!

I hope you all had a fabulous Mother's Day yesterday!!! I know I sure did. My husband & children made it very special for me. I love them :)

It started out with this wonderful breakfast. All planned out by little man & cooked by hubby.

My sweet boy also planned this super lunch and made the sandwiches all by himself :)

And Kenzee made cookies.

Everything was so good & very much appreciated.

I love being a mom!!

My New Look

It was definitely time for a new look on my blog, so I stayed up late last night and worked on it. I am not very savvy when it comes to computer stuff so I needed it quiet with no distractions ;)

I used Shabbyblogs.com for my design. It was FREE :) I think I love it.

Crazy Cute Fashion-Special Edition

Today for Crazy Cute Fashion I am switching it up bit.

My sweet boy is our model for this edition :)

He is so cute & definitely has a great fashion sense ;) He chose this outfit himself!!

He really takes pride in picking out his own clothes (even though I would love to pick them out for him). He has this crazy cute style that is kind of a skater boy mixed with a preppy look. I love it!!

After all, boys need to look good too :)

DIY Shabby Table

My super sweet husband grabbed these for me from the dump.

Table legs, missing the table ;)

He also grabbed this for me out of someone's curbside trash after I begged him repeatedly to go get it.

I mean OBVIOUSLY this thing is not on it's last leg yet!!!

Here is what we turned it into.

Thosw sweet legs now have a table.

He cut all these slats for me out of that dilapitated pile. I painted them & shabbied them up.

I love it {♥}

And here is proof that one man's trash is another man's girl's treasure :)

Shutter Love

I love to decorate with shutters. I have quite a few in my home. Some are single & propped up against a wall, some are double & standing in a corner, there is red and there is white. I have been painting some up to sell in my shop & they sell like hot cakes!! Here are a few I have done :)

I just love them all :)
